Sourced from The Unscripted Block in the Mount Lofty Ranges, these wines are shaped by low-yielding vines grown on clay and limestone soils, producing fruit of depth, structure, and natural elegance.
Winemaking is guided by patience and precision, with extended skin contact, careful barrel fermentation, and long maturation in fine French and American oak. Only the finest barrels are selected to create a wine defined by balance, power, and refinement.
Each release is a true reflection of the vintage, with the inaugural 2022 marking the beginning of this story. Cellar Reserve is more than our finest wine — it is the expression of exceptional seasons, captured in every bottle.

Impressively structured wine that shows dark chocolate, dark berry and plum fruits. The Reserve shiraz has some serious full fruit flavour with superb concentration, soft, elegant tannins and smooth mocha oak that finishes with excellent length.

2022 Cellar Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
A rich, full-bodied style showing full fruit flavour with beautifully perfumed varietal Cabernet aromas. With a hint of mint and just the right amount of plum, blueberry and spice, it shows superb concentration with soft, elegant tannins on the finish.
The Unscripted Block Story
When Harry first walked the site, there was no grand plan for what it could become. The block was irregular and untamed, with tightly placed vines shaped to the natural contours of the land. Vines of varying vigour responded differently to the soils, slopes, and changing conditions of the Mount Lofty Ranges, with each season revealing something new.
Where others may have tried to force consistency, Harry chose to work with the vineyard’s natural character. Over time, the block began to show its potential — producing wines with depth, balance, and complexity that could never be manufactured. It became clear that this wasn’t a vineyard to be dictated to. It was one to be interpreted.
The name Unscripted Block captures that philosophy. It reflects a site that isn’t bound by formula or expectation—a place where the outcome isn’t predetermined but discovered. Each vintage is a conversation between land, climate, and craft, rather than the execution of a fixed script.
From this unpredictability comes the foundation of the Cellar Reserve wines. Only in those rare seasons—when the block’s many traits align —does its fruit rise to the level required. And when it does, the result is something unmistakable: wines that are both precise and expressive, shaped
